About the opportunity: As a ServiceNow Administrator, you would own the responsibility for the entire ServiceNow platform at the client site. To be successful in this position, you must have experience in maintaining business services and configuration items in ServiceNow and maintaining the integrity across the platform for production and non-production instances.

  • Perform installation and testing of updates and new releases
  • Work with business users to identify and refine business requirements and workflows
  • Identify and define business solutions for users
  • Support ServiceNow discovery tool for CMDB
  • Provide ServiceNow configuration and customization assistance including, but not limited to: form tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, LDAP integration, custom
  • scripting and third party software integrations
  • Design and configure new applications and modules
  • Assist in troubleshooting patch / release management issues
  • Aid in translating business requirements into technical requirements
  • Implement new functionality
  • Develop UI forms, fields, notifications, workflows and JavaScript server/client code
  • Maintain LDAP integration and user configurations
  • Maintain Single Sign-On integration
  • Build reports, gauges, and home pages
  • Maintain Service Level Agreement (SLA) and monitor SLA workflows
  • Create new service catalog requests and items with variables
  • Create, monitor, modify, and publish service catalog workflows with approvals
  • Create and use update sets to move configurations between systems
  • Search, populate, and customize the knowledge base
  • Create and maintain Access Control Lists (ACL)
  • Will also want the role to work on Orchestration of operational tasks which require C-sharp and T-SQL. HTML/CSS

  • 5+ years’ experience in ServiceNow as a System Administrator
  • Certified ServiceNow Administrator
  • ServiceNow system administrator training required
  • Experience in implementing ServiceNow processes and functions
  • Knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory a plus
  • Relevant IT Architecture experience
  • Experience in Java, JavaScript, Web Services, AJAX, XML
  • Understanding and experience with agile software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum)
  • Web applications, networks, protocols and email (SMTP, POP3)
  • Working knowledge of relational databases
  • Experience implementing IT Service Management tools
  • Experience with IT Service Management, Service Desk, and Change Management processes
  • Basic understanding of ITIL v3 methodologies

Preferred Skills:
  • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification
  • Integration experience with directories, such as Active Directory using methods such as LDAPs, Single Sign-on using SAML 2.0
  • Web Services integration experience
  • ITIL v3 Certification
