ServiceNow Administrator:

Position requires developing technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform to satisfy the business needs of the IT department and beyond. Apply innovative technology to business processes in order to develop new solutions and troubleshoot issues as well as advising on options, risk and impacts on business processes and technical architecture. Design and review new requirements and new features based on business needs in addition to creating and/or reviewing various ServiceNow objects, data integrations, and reports using ServiceNow platform.

The Day-to-Day:

Overall administration of the Service Now instance
  • Partner with outsourced Service Now team on complex administration/integrations
  • Coordinating integrations with applications such as Active Directory and CASB
  • Hands-on design, development and deployment experience with the ServiceNow platform
  • Prepare requirement specifications and design documents
  • Establish and drive ServiceNow configuration standards
  • Facilitate the implementation and integration of all modules
  • Facilitate and test all system upgrades and configuration changes
  • Participate in design review with other team members
  • Partner with team on UIs, Workflows and notifications
  • Ensure configuration consistency across development, test and production environments
  • Effectively manage and prioritize implementation tasks effectively

Your Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of work experience in ServiceNow Administration, Implementation and Development
  • Expert level knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM (Request, Incident, Problem, Knowledge,   Change, Asset, Service Catalog, Service Portal Configuration)
  • Experience managing instances and support tickets through the HI Service Portal
  • Advanced level knowledge of update sets, code promotion, system clone, data preservers and excluded tables
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies including Scrum
  • Intermediate level JavaScript, PowerShell and XML
  • Intermediate level knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration, Operational Intelligence, Cloud Management and Release Automation)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and time management skill

Additional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor level degree in MIS, Computer Science or a related field
  • Must have 4+ years’ experience in Technology, with 3+ years in Infrastructure and Operations
  • 8+ years’ experience in Technology, with 5+ years in Infrastructure and Operations preferred
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification
  • ServiceNow CIS-Discovery certification
  • Experience with Active Directory, LDAP or Single Sign-on (SSO)
  • Working knowledge of relational databases
