Research Associate II

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Lead translational research efforts in support of Oncology pipeline.
  • Responsible for executing a wide range of cellular, biochemical, and molecular biology assays to understand the mechanism of action to RAS/MAPK targeted therapies. 
  • Collaborate with the functional genomics group to run various high throughput screens using Cas9/CRISPR technology or small molecule libraries to identify combinations with therapeutic targets.

Summary of Qualifications:
  • PhD degree with full time experience in an academic or biotechnology industry laboratory.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in a broad range of molecular and cell biological techniques (in vitro  and  in vivo  preferred).
  • Laboratory research experience in the area of cancer cell signaling.
  • Some experience in high-throughput cell line screening, CRISPR/Cas9 technology, single-cell analysis, or computational analysis of large data sets would be an asset. 
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, verbal/written communication skills.
  • Flexibility and interest in learning new techniques and skills in accordance with evolving research program needs.
  • Ability and desire to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, innovative, and interdependent research environment.
