Material Operations Customer Service Representative

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • The Materials Operations CSR will serve as a liaison between the customers and warehouse staff, while being responsible for maintaining department metrics and documents.
  • Responsible for answering phone and email inquiries; entering them into the inquiry log.
  • Coordinate special delivery and package pick-ups.
  • Responsible for submitting monthly department metrics.
  • Process any incoming UPS and/or FedEx packages received on the campus.
  • Process any outgoing UPS and/or FedEx packages being sent from the campus.
  • Work closely with members in Receiving, Distribution, Shipping, Storage and Disposition, Sample Transport, Zero Waste Team, and leadership teams.
  • Coordinate meetings with cross-functional department teams as needed.

  Summary of Qualifications:
  • AA/BA/BSC with 1 year experience working within inventory or warehouse environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Google Suite softwares (gSheets, Google Hangouts, gDocs, Gmail, gCal, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SCLogic and/or SAP is a plus, however, willingness and ability to learn applications is required.
  • Must be able to work 100% onsite in South San Francisco; M-F, 40 hours per week.
