Job Description

  • The position will involve troubleshooting register and network hardware over the phone
  • Communication between stores and IT, as well as between  IT and business partners
  • Lead and manage projects and initiatives to completion (concept to implementation)
  • Partner with the business to determine requirements and establish processes
  • Vendor management and coordination of internal and external staff
  • Technical and functional participation in New Store Openings and other deployments to stores

  • Good communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Ability to understand requirements quickly and plan deliverables in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of project management and SDLC process
  • Usually a person who has worked as a Technical Lead or has had a leadership role
  • Ability to learn in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to get along well with others (has the right attitude)
  • Retail experience and knowledge of Point of Sales/store equipment
  • Deployment experience, rollout of hardware/software
  • At least 5 years’ experience
  • Technical Skills: POS hardware and applications. PDTs and markdown equipment. PCs, servers and thin clients. Windows. Active Directory. SQL Server. MS Office. Visio.
