Bayside Solutions is looking for a highly talented Operations Support Specialist to manage daily work queue activities for our world renowned consumer electronics client located in Sunnyvale CA.  The ideal candidate will work on the very front end of the Service Delivery team to provide solutions to customer requests for complex hardware infrastructures in our clients Data Centers.   An ability to be flexible to non-standard requests so that we may offer alternative solutions is also required.  Understanding Customer Satisfaction is a must.

Principal Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:
  • Organize and Manage internal customer “ requests” for Infrastructure build projects
  • Review customer requests for actionable content
  • Determine and act on most efficient path to start downstream task to appropriate delivery teams
  • Maintain on-going request relevant dialogue between internal customer and delivery teams
  • Respond to internal customer requests for follow up in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilize a Customer Service Management tool to start and manage customer request projects
  • Utilize a number of adhoc tools and systems to aid in decision making
  • Create and manage adhoc reports to simplify task response
  • Attend and/or drive customer meetings as required – face-to-face and webex
  • Partner with Delivery and Project Management teams for successful completion of customer projects
  • Enhance Team Effort with contributions to team knowledge repository
  • Respond to management requests for other duties as assigned
  • “ Project Drive” hand-picked standard configuration projects – from request to customer handoff.  (This is a new task and will be a major focus for this role.  Not looking for PM trained individual as much as able to handle a large volume of simple PM tasks.)


  • Extensive Customer Service and/or Support Experience
  • Basic server and storage design
  • Ability to host and drive meetings
  • Reporting capabilities utilizing spreadsheets and Customer Service Management Tools
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to adapt learned scenarios to new situations


Nice to have:
  • Detail Oriented
  • Ability to discern simple tasks from complex requests
  • Strong intuitive skills to arrive at best decision
  • Experience with ServiceNow, a plus.
