Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Ensure GMP compliance in all Facilities related documentation
  • Ensure compliance to Corporate policies
  • File preventive maintenance and calibration records. Distribute copies to departments as needed
  • Review, enter data, process, and close maintenance and calibration records
  • File and create equipment records and associated files
  • Generate various reports from equipment spreadsheet as needed
  • Periodically review records for GMP and CDC compliance for completeness
  • Edit, word process, and complete change requests to update maintenance, metrology, and policy SOP’ s. Works to ensure all aspects of departmental activities are covered by the proper documentation
  • Create and route maintenance, Select Agent and calibration SOP’ s through Document Control System
  • Provide documentation during internal and outside regulatory audits
  • Organize reference documents such as manuals, equipment files in accordance with applicable policies and procedures
  • Assist with maintenance contract administration
  • Coordinate with outside contractors to ensure calibration and PM’ s are scheduled and completed on time. Escort contractors as needed for onsite calibration and PM activities. Provide applicable training to contractors as required
  • Ensure equipment maintenance and calibrations are properly documented in departmental logbooks
  • Process purchase requisitions
  • File and audit training records and escort forms
  • Participate on teams to develop adequate quality systems for GMP operations
  • Assist in departmental training and support on procedures and databases
  • Develop and maintain critical spare parts inventory
  • Assist in maintaining department training binders

Required Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree or combination of relevant experience and education
  • 3-5 years experience as a documentation coordinator or other related position in a Quality Assurance or Facilities organization
  • At least 3 years in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or other related industry
  • Must be able to work independently and with various customer groups
  • Effective communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point)
  • Knowledge of GMP / GLP(s)
  • Experience with calibration and / or maintenance documentation preferred
  • Able to identify standard lab and process equipment
  • Able to maintain accurate and legible records
  • Able to write and word process SOP’ s
  • Experience in training individuals on procedures or policies
