Executive Assistant - Human Resources

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Provide administrative support to Chief Human Resources Officer and other designated members of the HR team including:
    • Manage and maintain calendars including the setup and tracking of complicated and logistically challenging meetings
    • Organize, book, and track travel for designated members of the team as necessary
    • Compile, submit and track expenses via CONCUR
  • Oversee budget tracking and all aspects of vendor set-up and contracting activities for the Human Resources department.
  • Partner with CHRO on the development and submittal of compensation committee materials
  • Act as a central contact for the Human Resources team for designated project communications, correspondence and associated documentations
  • Create agendas and take minutes for leadership team and department meeting
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously; handle special projects as requested
  • Handle confidential material
  • Serve as a collaborative member of the Human Resources team

Qualifications: 
  • Atleast 8 years of administrative experience (biotech preferred)
  • Human Resources experience strongly preferred 
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience with CONCUR
  • Experience in and knowledge of contracts systems- Zycus a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Excellent analytical, planning/organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Communicate and share knowledge with internal and external contacts at all levels
  • Must have excellent customer-service orientation, high degree of professionalism, and be a strong team player
