Summary of Responsibilities:
  • The temporary Senior Scientific Researcher job will be a laboratory-based position to perform radiolabeling and preclinical assessment of large molecules to further our mechanistic understanding of biologic drug disposition.
  • The lab activities will include chemical modification and purification of antibodies and other proteins, in vitro assays and management of preclinical biodistribution studies in rodents to characterize our biotherapeutic molecules.
  • The temporary SSR will be working with radiolabeled molecules and/or animal tissues. He or she will have opportunities to interact and learn from scientists and other colleagues. 
  • The SSR will also participate in our group meetings including presentation of his/her own data collected during the temporary period.

Summary of Qualifications:
  • BS in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Biophysics, or a related field is required
  • A basic working knowledge of chromatography is required.
  • The candidate must have demonstrated a general working knowledge of cell culture, biochemical techniques, analytical techniques, general biology and basic laboratory skills.
  • Previous hands-on experience in chemistry, especially radiochemistry, is desirable but not required.
  • The candidate will also be expected to actively participate in study protocol submission, data analysis and report writing.
  • Good oral and written communication skills are important as well as demonstrated effectiveness in a team setting.
