Process Scientist II- Automation/Analytical

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • This position primarily focuses on using high throughput automation instruments (TECAN) to develop processes for protein purification, ELISA and analytical assays in 96 or 384-well formats.
  • Familiar with antibody purification techniques, SEC and CEX analysis on UPLC/HPLC systems, and CE-SDS.
  • Require basic expertise in TECAN Freedom Evo script-writing skills.
  • Works independently and in teams on a daily basis  to develop, optimize and validate automation methods.
  • Summarizes data and/or authors technical reports for experiments and presents results to team. 

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in a biological related science with 2-4years  of BioPharma industry experience.
  • Experience using automated liquid handling robots (TECAN).
  • Use of weighing scales, ph probes, pipettes, mixers and other liquid handling instruments.
  • Familiar with antibody purification techniques, SEC and CEX analysis on UPLC/HPLC systems, and CE-SDS.
  • Require basic expertise in TECAN Freedom Evo script-writing skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools including: Word, Excel and preferably OneNote and Microsoft Project.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment
