Compliance Operations & Customer Service Associate          

The primary purpose of the Compliance Operations & Customer Service Associate role in Commercial Compliance Operations (CCO) is to (1) provide timely and exceptional customer service via phone and email in regards to exhibit, sponsorship, and grant requests, the system used for submission of requests, and the general funding process; (2) accurately and efficiently review grant and sponsorship requests for compliance at the direction of CCO; and (3) provide support by performing administrative and process related tasks.

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service support to employees and external grant applicants by resolving phone and email inquiries while upholding a 1-day response turn-around time.  Inquiries include but are not limited to funding request status updates, system training requests, system issues, payment process questions, and other business process questions.
  • Review charitable and educational grant requests, including Continuing Medical Education (CME) grants, for compliance based on internal SOPs and policies. Conduct compliant, thorough and appropriate assessments in a timely manner.
  • Provide internal and external stakeholders with information regarding department processes and requirements as requested
  • Work collaboratively, effectively and maintain rapport with CCO and all internal and external stakeholders including IT, Finance, Marketing, Field Sales, Legal, and other groups
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
  • Consistently adhere to process and document tracking requirements 

Summary of Qualifications:
  • Minimum education: Bachelor’ s Degree or higher education
  • Minimum 3 years customer service/focus experience
  • Minimum 3 years of working with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Proficiency with working in Macintosh
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision making skills
  • Excellent written and face-to-face/phone written communication skills
  • Disciplined, organized, and flexible team player
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy
  • Strong time management skills coupled with efficient/effective multi-tasking
  • Results oriented – demonstrated ability to work independently and with others to achieve desired results
  • Must be able to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency with working in Salesforce CRM business process/workflow systems
  • Ability to learn and become proficient in internal policies, guidelines, and department SOPs.
